The RIANI Timeline


RIANI is a fashion label run by the Buckenmaier family that bridges the gap between contemporary and luxury design. Characterised by unique fits, the highest standards of tailoring and quality as well as materials and design. Vision and discipline paired with passion and dedication. These values have made RIANI a leading womenswear brand today. 
 Jürgen Buckenmaier laid the foundation for a fashionable and entrepreneurial success story Made in Germany back in 1978 with the founding of RIANI Bucki Mode GmbH, since 2006 RIANI GmbH. RIANI is more than just a premium label. 
RIANI is an attitude to life and it is precisely this attitude that is embodied and lived by Martina Buckenmaier, CEO of RIANI GmbH. Her influences can be felt in all areas of the company and provide cross-divisional inspiration from design and marketing to the end customer. 
In the spirit of digitalisation, RIANI is also taking customers into the RIANI brand world in the online shop, under the direction of Mona Buckenmaier, COO. Mona not only brings the next generation into the family business, but also digital brand progress.

We envision a truly sustainable, family-run company. We want to maintain a steady balance between innovation and tradition from online to our offline stores. In our vision, RIANI is much more than just a brand. We want to embody a lifestyle that will make every customer a RIANISTA and therefore part of the RIANI family. 

Our mission is to achive steady growth that allows us to focus on offering the very best quality and the further development of our collection as well as employee loyalty and the needs of our customers. We have made it our mission to share that special RIANISTA sense of life with every customer - regardless of age or shape.


How we live

The RIANI Family is based at the RIANI headquarters in Schorndorf. Around 120 employees work there on 10,000 square metres, overseeing the entire process from designing the collection to shipping.   
The RIANI Family is constantly growing, but fortunately there is no chance of overcrowding - this has been thought ahead already. The unique building was constructed in a way to allow for an extra level to be added on top if necessary. At the moment, we are perfectly happy with our light office spaces, surrounded by the roof top terrace “Vineyard” with a view of the Grafenberg and its marvellous vineyards, the Cosy Kitchen with a huge glass front and international menus and our very own spa and beauty area.   
It comes as no surprise that the RIANI headquarter has been given an architecture award!


What we do at RIANI

DESIGN

A perfect tailoring, refined details and a unique fit. These characteristics characterise the RIANI design department. Supported by the Purchase and Full Business departments, unique collections are created at our headquarters that give our RIANISTAs a great attitude to life.

MARKETING & PR

Various areas intersect in the in-house marketing and PR department. Social media marketing, press relations, texting and trend research initiate all processes at the headquarter, which are creatively realised by the graphics department.

DIGITAL & IT

The online shop and IT team is innovative, customer-centred and modern. With dedication and an eye for detail, all online marketing is channelled to our customers' devices from here. The constant development of the online shopping world is the focus here in order to make RIANI fit for the future as a brand. 

RIANI's IT department is one of the most important areas of the headquarters and far beyond. From e-commerce to design and administration: there is no area in which IT is not involved. 

LOGISTIC

Delivering orders to the customer, processing returns properly, checking the warehouse and keeping track of everything. The logistics area at RIANI is where the previous work of the headquarters is finalised and is therefore an important part of the company.

SALES

From collection orders to repeat orders, from event planning to B2B customer meetings. Sales at RIANI offers a new area of work every day.

CUSTOMER-SERVICE

Managing orders and deliveries, solving problems and ensuring customer satisfaction. Customer Service is a central part of the RIANI headquarters, focussing on supporting our B2C customers with questions, problems or concerns.

SPA

Dive into an exclusive experience at the RIANI Day Spa and enjoy relaxation at the highest level. In our wellness oasis we offer body treatments, facials, make-up, manicures and pedicures.
